CBD stands for 'Cannabidiol'
There are over 100 different cannabinoids that occur naturally in the flowering hemp plant. CBD is one of those cannabinoids. Our body naturally produces compounds called endocannabinoids (endo=inside), and the hemp plant produces phytocannabinoids (phyto=plant). You may see the term PCR used in certain hemp products. This stands for 'Phytocannabinoid Rich'.
Phytocannabinoids are found in other plant-based foods, such as tea, flax, carrots, rosemary, and much more, with the greatest concentration of phytocannbinoids found in hemp (Cannabis sativa)
